Oh my god, I ate so much the last week. Food is just too cheap here. And it isn’t even really good. I mean you can find tasty food, but most restaurants sell unhealthy stuff and you have to keep your eyes open for something good.
Since I like to eat local products whereever I am, I’m happy to have a new favorite side dish or snack in Bolivia. It’s Maniok or Yuca, as Bolivians say. It looks like a huge radish and it’s cultivated in some regions in Southamerica as well as in many parts of Africa.
People compare it with potato, I think it’s way better. You can get it almost everywhere on the street here. It’s quite often fried, but everything here is fried, you have to get used to it. I’m already.
