The ski region is a relatively big one. Round about 100 ski runs, spread over three villages and many mountains. A few blue ones, some black ones and a lot red ski runs. A nice mix according my taste.
The first days had been a warm up. Today we made our way through the whole region. We started with the first ski lift shortly before 9am at our valley station and reached the highest peak in the region around lunch time. Up and down, up and down, up an down. Arrived.
The so called Massnerkopf is exactly 2828 metres above zero. Crazy, until 2011 there was only a button lift to the top. They are a strain, most of all on steep mountains. Today there’s a comfortable chairlift for 6 people fortunately.
Up on the top it was indeed a bit windy, but the stunning view compensated everything. Our following lunch break was more than deserved.
